Zinc flame spray
Thermally sprayed zinc gives steel a sacrificial corrosion-protection layer and is useful for coastal work, structural steel and repairs where conventional galvanising may be impractical. It can also form part of a duplex zinc-plus-paint system.
On-site repair of damaged galvanising
Where galvanising has been damaged by cutting, welding, impact, installation or local corrosion, we can prepare the exposed area and reinstate zinc protection on site using flame spraying. This provides a practical repair route for suitable structures and components that cannot easily be removed and re-galvanised.
Coastal corrosion needs a system, not a quick coat
